Mobile Check Deposit

Mobile deposit makes it easy to deposit checks anytime, anywhere—right from your phone. Here’s how to do it in just a few steps.

Why use it?:

Before You Start

Make sure your check is filled out correctly:

1. Front of the check: All fields completed and signed
2. Back of the check (endorsement):
   • Your account number
   • Your name
   • Business name (if applicable)
   • A checkmark or note for “Mobile Deposit” if not pre-printed

Step-by-Step: How to Deposit

1. Log into the Herring Bank app
2. From the home screen, tap Deposits
3. Tap Deposit To and select your account
4. Enter the amount of the check
5. Tap Take Check Photo
6. Position the check in the center of your screen
   • The app will guide you closer or farther until it’s framed correctly
7. Once the front image is accepted, flip the check and capture the back
8. Review both images
9. Tap Submit to complete your deposit

You’ll get a confirmation once your deposit has been created successfully.
